Halleluiah Praise God for progress in the company.
This month has been awesome and I can truly say I love what we do here in this ministry especially for our students and with our students.
It’s not everyday that I find myself smiling and excited about doing everything I ought to do. So many times I feel like I can’t breathe especially with the never ending work load and the fear to not accomplish a goal in time. I currently made a vow that, never will I allow myself to be beaten by the goals I have set, nor the ones the ministry dictates. With that vow made, I have noticed that lately it’s been a bit crazy since we have started moving a bit faster and more directed and there’s such a positive attitude moving around when it comes to work and it is awesome.
NEW
We just started fundraising using donation papers and up next we’ll b having a jumble sale at the city park after which we will do a car wash in the neighborhood and later a concert which will include a bunch of local artists. This is all an attempt to raise enough money to develop our office to a descent one since we still have the same old stuff, with almost none existent computers for effective office work.
ALSO NEW
We have two new students who joined at the beginning of the month and their names are Belinda Chambers and Eugene Shabangu. If you remember well we lost a few students due to the distance issue where they had to commute daily to where we trained but later could not due to the lack money. So these two are from around and are very positive and task oriented as well as fit perfectly within the system.
THIS MONTH
Third month of training is down and now we getting into the fourth fast paced April where we will be aiming at practically applying all we have learnt. We have an outreach team which has been working so hard to get us places to visit for an hour or two during the weekend, so we will be doing that this April. We have an awesome team that focuses on just that.
BOOKINGS AND EVENTS
We also just placed on calendar a bunch of schools and churches that would love for us to come minister to their young people through the alternative style that we bring. We will be starting something called “HARD-CORE-sessions” a week and a half from now which will hopefully happen every weekend for two hours where we will have a lot of local schools’ kids coming around to one of the main halls in the city to experience art and God as well as cool discussions about life issues that affect them.
FUNDRAISING
Since we are doing our fundraising this month we ask that you please be involved by sending us money to reach our targeted R10 000.00 to get the office equipment we need and computers. We are looking forward to fundraising for our first company vehicle in July which will be our fundraising month. So please budget ahead to aid us with this. Please pray about how you can be involved in this ministry.
SHOWS
If you remember well we had a hard time last year ministering to local churches. Mainly because the adults didn’t digest well our style and approach especially with the hip hop music in church. We have so far developed our dancers for a much better relevant style that they understand. So we are focusing on our contemporary style with all the slow and worship songs. “Give to them what they want in order to get to them what they need” right??
We have about four shows this year namely:
- Tied,
- Beauty From pain,
- Click
- Oval.
We have a few story-line based productions with strong messages and ministry for schools and youth groups.
In Closing we are in need of prayer and people to continually pray and intercede for us. These people should be people who give their names up so we may send them the ministry’s prayer requests as often.
